Weeeellllllllll as I mentioned in the last post I have recently been being looking into eating healthily and being a little more environmentally conscious. The below blogs are ones that have inspired and intrigued me:
Mind Body Green - I get daily updates from these guys. They put around five articles in each mailer and I usually find myself clicking on at least three, often four. They tend to be nutrition or mindfulness related and some of it I don't agree with but I am usually still interested in the debate.
Nutrition Diva - I have just discovered this one and I've gotta say I'm quite blown away by it. I like to think of myself as having an open mind to new ideas and food concepts but need to have an element of science and fact behind them. The Nutrition Diva has short podcasts to accompany the website in which she discuss different nutrition related questions. She does it all with facts and studies to support her point of view and often gives a balanced argument. I find in most the cases she comes to the conclusion that a little bit of anything isn't necessarily bad for us which is an idea that I am fully on board with.
Becoming Peculiar - While some of her posts are a little more religious (and some a little more baby focused) than I am interested in she does have some other unique insights and tips. A lot of the posts are about living a more minimal lifestyle and buying quality items that last a lifetime rather than through away things.
Also I've discovered a site where I can get free images for this blog so I am going to try and put a pretty picture up each time to inspire us, whether its a healthy beautiful bit of fruit or veg, or a serene landscape to remind us to stay calm and appreciate whats around us.
